What is Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion allows you to close your account for a minimum period of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years or permanently depending on the time period you choose. This prevents you from gambling with Football INDEX for your selected period of time.

During a period of self-exclusion, you will not be able to use your account. Your account will not be reactivated under any circumstances during the exclusion period (unlike a standard account closure request).

At your request, we will as soon as is reasonably practicable apply best practices to prevent you from using your Account for the selected period of time. To this end, we may retain such personal data as is necessary (and for as long as is necessary which may be indefinitely) to implement the facility as effectively as possible, including for example your name, address and credit/debit card details.

You can self-exclude your account under the ‘Responsible Gaming‘ section. Alternatively, you can contact our customer service team for assistance and further information.

Note: If a customer wishes to gamble again after any self-exclusion period has ended, they must contact support@footballindex.co.uk to request this. The customer will then be provided with a 24-hour cooling-off period before they will be able to access their account.

A customer is required to contact Football INDEX via support@footballindex.co.uk once a self-exclusion period has been requested. Once an account is closed for self-exclusion, ‘cash out/withdrawals’ will no longer be available. All remaining funds within the customer’s account are returned to the customer, minimum refund value of £10 applies.

Any remaining funds held in the account will be returned - subject to any outstanding wagering requirements by forfeiting the bonus and all winnings. Funds in the account are existing balance upon the self-exclusion request time and, the best available sell price for holdings in a portfolio, minus a 10% fee and the 2% commission fee.
